Hickory Place Townhomes

The revitalization of Burnet Avenue took a large step forward as investors broke ground on a multimillion dollar housing plan for eight new townhomes in late 2015, known as Hickory Place Townhomes. The project was the first new construction in Avondale since the 1990s, and is part of a long-standing plan to revitalize Avondale’s importance as a historic and vibrant neighborhood in Uptown Cincinnati.

The initial eight townhomes sold within 4 months demonstrating the demand for new, contemporary housing in this important Cincinnati neighborhood. The success of the first eight townhomes was complimented by eight additional townhomes in Phase II which sold out in 2 months.

As one of the largest neighborhoods in Cincinnati, Avondale is key to the spirit of Uptown Cincinnati, which employs nearly 53,000 people and produces an economic impact of more than $3 billion each year.

We are excited to announce Phase III of Hickory Place Townhomes coming in 2017 to the Avondale community and thank the many contributors that made this project possible, including:

-       Development Team: John Hueber Homes, NorthPointe Advisory Services and Wichman-Gunther Architects.

-       Project Sponsors: Uptown Consortium, Inc., Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Uptown Cincinnati Development Fund.

-       Community Partners: Avondale Comprehensive Development Corp and the Avondale Community Council.
